The Right Washing Method
Use the two-bucket method—one bucket with shampoo solution and one for rinsing—together with a soft wash mitt and a pH-neutral car shampoo. Wash the vehicle in a cool, shaded area, as direct sunlight can cause water spotting.
What to Avoid
Avoid automatic brush washes, harsh acidic or alkaline cleaners, and cotton cloths. These can leave fine swirl marks, wear down the coating, and reduce the finish quality over time.
Maintenance Frequency and Boosters
In most cases, washing every 1–2 weeks is enough. If the hydrophobic effect starts to weaken, a ceramic-compatible maintenance spray or topper can help refresh performance.
Dealing With Stains and Contamination
Remove bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap as soon as possible, since they can be acidic and may leave marks if left on the surface. For spot cleaning, use a microfiber cloth and a gentle detail spray.
